I picked up my "Associate Degree in Applied Science for Nursing" diploma from the community college today. Normally I'm sure this a great moment for some people. For me it was just a piece of paper. I blame my indifference on the NCLEX. All my education means absolutely nothing with out the licensing fairies from the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing granting me a nursing license.
You wanna see excitement? Wait till I get the results of the NCLEX, whether by phone or mail (god help the operator on the other end of the phone). Because come July 27th or so and you hear a loud shriek throughout the United States, and everyone is wondering what was that?? YOU will know because it will be ME screaming as loud as I can. No words, just screaming. Words will not be able to describe my relief.

HAHAHA!!! So funny... I got my BIG diploma in the mail with MASTER'S IN COMMUNITY COUNSELING written across the top -- Dan was standing there and I just looked at him and shrugged "Um... no one cares about this degree, when I get my LPC they'll be knocking my door down" -- LOVE IT!! Can't wait to hear how the NCLEX goes!! Keep smilin'
