I was thinking tonight about how important July 25th is for me. It is the culmination of 3 years of relentless studying, hard work, saying 'no' to partying, getting up at 4am on the weekends, being at the bottom of the medical food chain (ie, student), did I mention not being able to party?! I could go on and on, much like the past 3 years have but I won't torture the poor souls who actually read this.
To the point, it takes 2 years for a baby elephant to be born. It has taken me 2 years of hard core nursing classes to become a GN. I thought it was interesting that a mommy elephant and I have something in common. Hopefully by Friday I will have earned my RN, my little elephant.
