That is how I feel --- Yeah!! I got a call today and was offered the position at the hospital! whooo, big sigh of relief and huge wave of happiness :D
Details: Mon - Fri 7a-3p (maybe some weekends) Med-Surg/Rehab Float; reporting to the Nurse Manager that I think is the best nurse in the world & would love to be like her one day!!
I start July 8th for hospital orientation followed by 3 days of RN classroom orientation. Then about 3 months of floor orientation. Of course this is all pending my passing a physical & drug test (no sweat).
I love it!! I am so happy I feel like someone needs to pinch me to remind me it's real.
So NCLEX here I come, in the words of good friend, I'm "kickin ass & takin names!"
